StreamCo and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer today announced a multi-year licensing agreement for film and television shows that will also make Stan, StreamCo’s subscription video on demand service (SVOD), the exclusive Australian SVOD home for the Emmy-winning miniseries Fargo.

Mike Sneesby, Chief Executive Officer of StreamCo, a joint venture between Nine Entertainment Co. and Fairfax Media, today unveiled “Stan”, the new brand of their subscription video on demand service, launching soon.

Fairfax Media and Mi9 today announced the formation of the Australian Premium Advertising Exchange (APEX), a joint venture company under the leadership of CEO Pippa Leary, designed to bring a broad and premium mobile programmatic offering to the Australian market.

From today at 8:00 AM AEST, October 1, Australians who use Microsoft products including Windows 8, Internet Explorer, Skype and Outlook.com, and who have not manually reset their home page, will be directed to Australia’s newest home page – www.msn.com.au

Starting today, consumers will be invited to try the new MSN, represented in the Australian advertising market by Nine Entertainment Co. Microsoft is previewing the new web experience at preview.msn.com/en-au/, with the official launch due in the coming months.
