Due to an overwhelming response, Channel Nine doubled the streams of the first four episodes of Love Child made available on its Jump-in app on Sunday afternoon to 20,000 which reached its limit yesterday afternoon.
And Jump-in users are eagerly awaiting the remaining episodes that go to air on Channel Nine next Monday, February 17, at 8.40pm.
“Showing the first four episodes of Love Child on Jump-in was a ‘first in, first served’ pre-release and we knew that 10,000 Australians would get in fast – but due to demand we’ve doubled that and 20,000 people have now streamed those episodes,” Mark Britt, CEO of Nine Entertainment Co.’s digital division Mi9, said.
“You need only look at the comments on social media to see that people are completely hooked as a result of this pre-release and they’re already telling others how good Love Child is.”
This is just the beginning for the future of media content distribution in this country. The special Love Child stream is the result of Nine and Mi9, one of Australia’s leading online media companies, using their platforms to entertain Australians and preview a great new drama.
