Mi9 has today launched an all-new site, GamesFIX, in conjunction with one of Australia's most engaged online gaming communities, MMGN.com.
GamesFIX is an online forum for gaming culture, reviews, previews, news and blogs aimed at mobile, online and console gamers.
Mi9 fast-tracked the launch of the new site in time for Christmas. GamesFIX sits within ninemsn’s ‘TheFIX’ hub of entertainment and joins the hugely popular MovieFIX, TV FIX, MusicFIX and CelebrityFIX sites.
Mi9 will now offer advertising across targeted gaming channels including Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U, 3DS, PC Gaming, PlayStation Vita, retro gaming, Apple iOS and Windows 8 apps.
GamesFIX allows gaming enthusiasts to discover new products and connect with the gaming community via a wide range of engaging content including (at launch):

Users can create a profile by signing in with their social networks where they can save games they want to play;
Once users are logged in with a social network they can vote on polls, comment on articles and connect with “Want this” and “Played this” icons on games videos and articles.
Plans for the site include:
Social profiles and polling;
Gamification rewarding users with points for actions on the site;bility to play, chat and hang out online with other gamers;
Profile page features will be extended, this will include saving articles and comments and connecting with other user profiles on the site.
Long term plans also include the ability to purchase and sell games and associated products.
