Friday, 7 October 2011, Australia: ninemsn and ACP Magazines have today launched Australia’s only national restaurant guide app, unveiling Gourmet Traveller 2012 Restaurant Guide for iPhone. Available in the iTunes App Store from today for $2.99.

Providing decadent diners with a mobile version of Gourmet Traveller’s annual compact restaurant guide, the app offers Australia’s only expert-reviewed national mobile restaurant guide for the 360 best-of-the-best eating out options across metro and regional areas.

Users can search for a restaurant from a wide range of filters including; cuisine, location, rating and opening hours and then directly book a table from inside the app.

Forward-planners can also create a ‘wish list’ of must-visit eateries and then tick them off as they go along and share their own reviews with their friends via Facebook or Twitter.
