Sydney, Australia, Sunday 5th September, 2010: More than 870,000 votes have been cast by the Australian public and the winners of the 2010 FIX Awards, hosted by Australia's leading online celebrity and entertainment destination thefix.com.au, have been revealed.

Squeaky-voiced pop-tween Justin Bieber has taken out the not-so-coveted 'Pain In The Butt' award ahead of 19 other nominated local and international celebs including Mel Gibson, Kanye West and Lady GaGa, with 15,305 votes. Perma-tanned jailbird Lindsay Lohan came in second place with 12, 141 votes, while other Australian 'pains' Bindy Irwin and Kyle Sandilands took out 4th place and 6th place respectively.

The annual FIX Awards consist of 18-tounge-in-cheek categories to celebrate the local and international celebrities we love to loathe, mock and marvel calling on the Australian public to vote on who they think is the most deserving of each award category.

Australia's own flame-tastic Isla Fisher took out the title of 'Hottest Ginge', with over 50% of votes in the category, beating out fellow flame-haired PM Julia Gillard who won the title of "Australia’s Biggest Bogan". Despite an undecided vote for a Prime Minister, Australians were more than happy to vote for the 'Australia's Preferred PM' award, with loveable larrikins Hamish and Andy as clear cut winners with over 55% of votes.

Other 2010 FIX Award winners include:
  • The oompa loompa fake tan award – Katie Price
  • The 'Plastic Fantastic' award - Heidi Montag
  • Cutest Celeb Spawn – Shiloh Jolie Pitt
