-Bing Australia announces it’s most searched for terms-

Sydney, Australia, Monday 13th December, 2010; Bing Australia has released its Most Binged Things list for 2010, revealing the people, places, gadgets and trends that have sparked the nation’s interest and made us jump online to search for more information about them.

Once again, celebrities were high on the list of what Aussie’s are searching for. With her break-ups, hook-ups and nude shower pics, Aussie scandal-magnet and swimwear model Lara Bingle was the most searched for celebrity this year. Following closely behind was tween-dream pop singer Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Miranda Kerr, Robert Pattinson and everyone’s favourite Australian tourist Oprah Winfrey.

The area of the world we want to visit most is South East Asia, with Singapore, Malaysia, Bali and Thailand all in the top 10 most searched for travel destinations. Closer to home it seems we are searching for getaways in Perth, Tasmania and Darwin, while classic summer-holiday destinations Hawaii and Fiji also made the top 10.

We are searching for smart phones, cameras, games consoles and 3D TV’s and it seems we can’t get enough of shows such as Underbelly, Top Gear, Masterchef and the Twilight Saga.
