Important Informationa. The Top Strip can be either Ninemsn served or 3rd Party Ad served.
Functionalitya. Ninemsn Served - Please ensure the click command from our Flash Creative Guide has been used.
b. 3rd Party Served - Please ensure that the creative has been built to the technical specifications of the relevant 3rd party Design and Performancea.Content - Please ensure the ad does not try to launch an ad in a new browser window(pop up/pop under) or shake the browser window/inside the ad creative.
b.Performance -Please try to minimise the CPU load of any Ad Units submitted and bear in mind that there will be other flash elements on the page slowing down the user's machine. Any ads that cause excessive CPU load and damages user experience once tested on the page will not be accepted.

Note: All ad executions are subject to approval and ninemsn reserves the right to request changes to content and/or execution for brand equity/user experience reasons. If you are unsure about a concept that you are working on please submit it to your sales rep for feedback. Timelines & Deliverya. Note: If creative is late an estimated % of impressions equivalent to the prorated daily inventory level will be cancelled from the total impressions booked Top Strip TickerThe top strip ticker is an extension of the existing top strip product where an advertiser can feed in their latest product or service information via a text based feed. The ticker can be linked to an advertiser hosted feed or be updated & hosted by the Mi9 team (if advertiser hosted, they will need to add a valid cross domain policy - contact Mi9 for details). Please note that the placement cannot be 3rd party ad-served.

Please provide to Mi9:
  • A layered PSD mock showing logo & colour scheme of the unit (429px by 43px)
  • 429px by 43px Backup image(<15kb)
  • Content of scrolling feed
  • Relevant URL for clickthrough(individual items can have their own clickthrough URLs)
  • Information around if & when the feed will need updating through the lifetime of the campaign

Note: If you would like to customize and setup the ticker using your own flash developers, we have a flash template that is available upon request. Please note that you will need to provide the source files back to Mi9(.fla) for serving so that we can confirm the click tracking is setup correctly. Resources
