The PushUP is an auto expanding ad unit that is pinned to the users browser window. Once the page has finished loading the PushUP will start auto expanded (970x250) and resolve after 8 seconds. The PushUP will then resolve to 970x40 and stay pinned to the bottom of the browser as the user navigates the page. On CLICK of the pinned 970x40 ad, the unit will launch a 970x500 ad in the middle of the page and fade out the content to draw attention to the ad messaging.

Automatic expansion of pushUP is capped at once (1) per campaign lifetime and the 970x300 element must auto retract after 8 seconds. If the user has interacted with the unit by CLICK prior to the 8 seconds auto-close, the unit can remain expanded.

The ad unit must be built to the technical specifications of the 3rd party vendor (list of supported vendors in table above). It should function so that the Initial PushUP and reminder strip stick to the bottom of the browser window at all times. Please contact the vendor for more details on these specifications & a template.
All audio should be off by default. Audio can only be used when the ad unit is in an expanded state and must have a mute/sound on/off button.
Additional video/sound content can be downloaded on click initiation (see above for file size limits). Please include a clear call to action indicating that the user will be 'downloading a larger file'.
d. Close Button:
A close button must be present on the Initial PushUP element and Expanded Panel element at all times. The close button must display the word CLOSE and an X symbol and be located in the top right hand corner of the flash element. It must be at least 50x20px and designed to stand out from the advertisement. A close button is not required in the reminder strip.
Automatic expansion of the pushUP must have a frequency cap of 1 per user over whole campaign.
Every other expansion must be user initiated either via click action on the reminder strip.

Design and Performance
To protect our brand please ensure:
All images and content are appropriate to the general audience nature of the site.
The ad does not try to launch parts of the ad in a new browser window or shake the browser window.
Please try to minimise the CPU load of any Ad Units submitted and bear in mind that there will be other flash elements on the page slowing down the users machine. Any ads that cause excessive CPU load and damages user experience once tested on the page will not be accepted.
All ad executions are subject to approval and ninemsn reserves the right to request changes to content and/or execution for brand equity/user experience reasons. If you are unsure about a concept that you are working on please submit it to your sales rep for feedback.
Timelines and Delivery
All 3rd party creative should be delivered to Ninemsn via a single 3rd party ad serving tag.
Ninemsn recommends submitting creative concepts (storyboards) 3 - 4 weeks before campaign, in order to allow feedback from ninemsn and amendments.
All material must be delivered at least five (5) working days prior to campaign launch to ensure technical compatibility and internal concept approval.
If creative is late an estimated % of impressions equivalent to the prorated daily inventory level will be cancelled from the total impressions booked.
