In our continuous effort to protect user data and privacy, we now require all advertising components for display, mobile and video ads – including tags, tracking urls, redirect urls, Flash and HTML5 assets – to be SSL compliant (https://) when requested from a secure location/site. These ads cannot interfere with the user’s browse or page experience by interruption due to a Secure Content Warning. This new SSL requirement applies to ALL display, mobile and video ads.
Apple have disabled auto-play video for devices running iOS 6.1 and above. This means videos on these devices will ONLY play after user-initiation. Please see this link for more information.
It is encouraged that you read the latest on Apple's and/or Android's policies on what is accepted for auto-play video. You should also test your ad across all devices and browsers where it might be running to ensure it works as expected. Nine Digital may reject any ads we find through our testing that don't meet the high standards of our network.
