With the continued convergence of TV and digital, Mi9 became a part of the Nine Entertainment Co family in November 2013. Nine Entertainment Co agreed to acquire Microsoft’s 50% share of the business which was originally established in 1997, and for 16 years was a 50-50 joint venture between NEC and Microsoft. Mi9 and Microsoft maintain a long term strategic partnership agreement whereby Mi9 sells Microsoft’s suite of advertising products across Australia and New Zealand, while leveraging their world leading technology, data, insights and innovation.
